Desired Candidate Profile
Basic Function and Responsibility:
- Lead a scrum team of 8-10 members in product development A suite of applications
- Design, Implement Product from requirements through delivery
- Strategize and plan the rollout of new technology implementations with enterprise architect.
- Review, refactor, standardize and implement the best product development standards & practices
- Hands on development of Core/critical technical components of the system
- Planning, scheduling and tracking the Development activities
- Identify and improve the solution on a continual basis for ease of configuration, customization, maintenance and customer support
- Technical documentation of architecture, High level system design as per client requirements
- Provide good technical leadership - Train, mentor and guide the teammates
Education
Bachelors Degree required in Computer Science with excellent consistent academic record
Work Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience of which min 5 years of hands-on on MVC architectures using java and other web technologies (REST, Hibernate, AngularJS etc)
- Full stack application development experience.
- Complete life cycle - Experience in product development is a big plus
- Good understanding of required characteristics of a product for deployment in Multitenancy, Cloud, On-Premise etc
- Ability to program in Java and build web applications using spring frameworks
- Good working knowledge in configuring and managing the application servers Jboss, tomcat etc and ability to configure the load balancers for high performance, scalability and availability
- Good experience in data base design and implementation
- Experience in MongoDB design for an enterprise application with heterogenous data is a big plus
- Ability to write complex SQLs and working knowledge on elastic search or apache solar is preferred
- Hands on work experience in Linux environment to manage the applications and deployments in Linux systems is preferred
- A system thinker with an eye for detail and a go-getter with sense of ownership makes him/her successful in this role
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Demonstrated ability in leading a team of technical enthusiasts willing to learn and apply the knowledge
- Strong knowledge of software engineering processes/practices
