Automation Test Lead - SAF - Gurgaon @ Macquarie Global

We are seeking an outstanding Automation Test Lead with a passion for product development to join our technology team aligned to Commodities and Global Markets Group. Commodities and Global Markets is the trading, hedging, financing and research operations within Macquarie and is a core business with strong global foundations.

This is a great opportunity for a tester with strong technical and communication skills to deliver in a challenging and dynamic environment. In this position you ll be part of a dynamic team that supports globally used applications where you ll be focused on project deliveries across a large range of applications supporting the business.

As a team you will identify quality weaknesses, maintain test results, report defects, and follow them through the complete defect cycle. You will also work with our highly skilled and geographically dispersed teams to contribute to our test frameworks and services and improve test automation tools and testing strategies used by our team.

To be successful in this role you should be able to work in a fast-paced agile environment and navigate through vague specifications and requirements while coordinating and engage relevant stakeholders to obtain clarity on expectations. You should have ability to communicate problems and solutions effectively with both business and technical colleagues (written and verbal). You ll bring a minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience in in automation and functional testing along with a selection of the following technical skills and experience:

• Strong experience in Ranorex, Serenity or SpecFlow

• Experience in version control tools like Git, Stash, bitbucket with exposure to CICD.

• Good knowledge of OOPs concept [Java or C#(preferable)].

• Experience of design automation frameworks and test scripts for complex applications with multiple type of interfaces (DB, MQ etc.).

• Experience managing automation test logistics

• Strong knowledge of SQL/No SQL databases.

• Strong experience conducting system integration, and working with Test/Development teams to build automated test cases.

This is a great opportunity where you ll drive software quality assurance lifecycle as part of Agile process and deliver high quality releases on time. Establish test strategies, design test plans and test cases. Design and implement a best practice automation testing framework for the workable platform services and components. You will execute regression, exploratory testing and acceptance of new features as part of a story driven. You will evaluate scope of automation and make recommendations. You will also plan and conduct POC on new applications to assess feasibility of automation testing. You will coach and guide team to deliver expected solutions and help them upskill them by providing day-to-day direction for people, projects and/or processes. You will also be responsible for Effective communication, stakeholder management.
