Draughtsman (Shopfitting/Joinery) @ Active Consultants

Job Description

Main Duties:
Reporting to the Factory Manager, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:
Produce accurate shop drawings for the factory according to industry standards
Relay detailed information in plan, elevation, and sectional view
Interpret architectural and designer drawings
Obtain and analyse site dimensions necessary for manufacture of high-quality shopfitting
Conduct surveys on site as and when required
Qualifications & Experience
Technical certificate or diploma in draftsmanship
Fully conversant with AutoCAD 2D & 3D
At least three years of proven experience in a similar position in a contracting environment
Conversant with all different design techniques related to the discipline in producing as-made, construction and shop drawings for shopfitting factory
Other Requisites
Self-organizer with strong analytical skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Ability to work within tight deadlines
Ability to manage work on more than one project simultaneously
Salary will be MUR 50,000 -MUR 65,000 + Accommodation or Housing Allowance + Annual Ticket
