Client is an European MNC in ChennaiJob Title : Sr.Lean SpecialistObjectives:Direct line management responsibility for all Lean Management functions.
. Ensure the maximum output from fixed assets.
. Life the Baettr values and foster the promotion.
. Ensure the coordination of work processes in the Lean Management team.
. Ensure the availability and operational readiness of all necessary means of production in the Lean
Management area.
. Ensure that the Lean Management function performs with excellent quality, at lowest cost, according
to the production plan and authorities` requirements and regulations and always with acceptable control
of safety and environmental impact.
o Planning, coordination, optimization, and monitoring of the Lean Management work processes.
. Establish (conception and introduction) a Lean Management system with focus on Lean Production
management and continual caring of the lean culture.
. Ensure cost reduction through efficiency through lean management.ResponsibilitiesImplement the best possible Lean Management
processes appropriate to the mass production
of products according to SQDCP
priciple.
. Optimize the efficiency and output of the
factory's fixed assets by improving cycle
times, reducing lead time, eliminating nonvalue
adding activities and reducing cost of
poor quality
. Prioritize and drive 'operational excellence'
activities through the development and
improvement of production processes, their
continuous improvement and optimal
standardisation in all work areas (continuous
improvement processes).
. Support the maintenance teamin developing
efficient TPM processes to improve OEE
. Support the SCM team in implementing lean
material replenishment system and planning
systems to reduce inventory and WIP and to
ensure raw material availability.Skills Required:Minimum bachelor's degree (preferably Master`
s degree) / Diploma in relevant engineering
disciplines with additional education in
lean management
. Minimum 5 Years work experience in lean
managements business or equivalent areas
. Comprehensive knowledge of all common
lean tools and methods such as Lean Six
Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, CIP, Standard Work etc.
. Ability to motivate employees outside direct
line management responsibilities
. Great cooperation and communication
ability inclusive conflict solving
. Passion for excellence with high integrity,
commitment to safety and quality
. Sufficient English and Tamil skills written and
spoken
. Accountability
