The Boeing Company is looking to hire an Experienced Programmer Analyst in Data Solutions Services. Data Solutions Services provides multiple products and offerings that allow application teams to have the flexibility and agility to meet their specific application development and security requirements by securing and enabling business data.
The ideal candidate will bring relevant and practical experience from previous roles to their new position in support of the full software life cycle. The position will be responsible for full stack development and maintenance of multiple existing Enterprise, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Boeing Global Services, and Boeing Defense, Space and Security applications.
Position Responsibilities:
Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents and maintains computing applications.
Gathers and evaluates end user requirements.
Writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design and analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements.
Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality.
Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems.
Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements.
System integration development and maintenance
Software security scanning and resolutions
Technical debt mitigations, including application rewrites due to technical obsolescence
System maintenance, compliance, change management, configuration management, and documentation
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Partners with business cross-functional subject matter experts (SMEs) and interfacing system developers for requirements, design, testing, deployment, and support
Must be flexible and adaptable with a high tolerance for organizational complexity
Collaborates with other developers, project and product managers, IT Operations partners, business partners, stakeholders, etc., across different time-zones and cultures.
Regulatory compliance, handling of sensitive information and export-controlled data
Product management and project coordination
Production support, root cause analysis and corrective actions
Maintains a productive sense of urgency, makes progress on multiple priorities, and completes quality deliverables as planned
Self-directed, operates independently with a well-defined SOW, leads others in pursuit of common objectives
Have a growth mindset, initiate improvements, welcome organizational transformations, with strong interest in continuous learning and professional development to gain expertise on system functionality, data schemas, environments, configurations, integrations, and related business processes.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of professional IT experience, preferably in an application development role, performing core activities across the software lifecycle from requirements gathering and design to coding, testing, integrations, deployments, and production support
5+ years of experience in object oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, etc.
5+ years of experience in scripting languages such as HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Oracle PL/SQL, PowerShell, Python, PHP, Visual Basic.NET, Ruby, Perl, etc.
5+ years of experience working with common industry development tools such as Microsoft .NET, Microsoft Visual Studio, Eclipse, Cloud(PCF), CI/CD, Automated Test Suites, Azure Dev Ops (ADO), JIRA, Git, GitLab, etc.
3+ years of direct or equivalent experience performing technical software troubleshooting, testing, debugging, and optimization
3+ years of experience and proficiency with Agile Development (Scrum, SAFe)
3+ years of experience working with Internet-based applications with multiple points of external integration
3+ years of experience with application security models and controls, AppScan, Coverity Code security scans and fixes, CyberArc, password maintenance, etc.
3+ years of relevant experience and proficiency with system integration toolsets and methodologies such as GoldenGate, ETL, Autosys, Pub/Sub, JSON, RESTful Web Services
3+ years working with globally dispersed teams across different time zones
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in database design and development using database technologies such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MySQL, etc.
3+ years of experience in data migrations, data integrations, building data pipelines, data replications using GoldenGate, HVR, etc.
2+ years of experience with government regulations and security controls as they apply to applications and databases
1+ years supporting databases in external cloud environments, e.g., AWS or Azure
Typical Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or 3 year Diploma with typically 8 + Years related work experience and/or a Master's degree or 3 year Diploma with typically 7 + Year's related work experience or relevant military experience.

This position does offer relocation within INDIA.
