JOB DESCRIPTION
JP Morgan Wealth Management (JPM WM) organization provides technology solutions for the Wealth Management products and services at JPMorgan Chase, which covers Wealth Planning, Investing, Banking and Lending for our 60+ million Chase and JPMA clients. JPM WM Technology delivers a wide range of platforms and solutions to support Self Directed Digital platform, Wealth Planning & insights, Managed & Brokerage account services, Retirement products & Education Planning.
JPM WM Technology is looking to hire an Executive Director asProduct Architect for Retirement Products, Education Funds & Donor platforms and to help accelerate our cloud transformation. These products cover AUM of $28Billion and $8Billion in annual revenues
This role will have 4 primary responsibilities:
- Partner with Product, Architecture teams and colleagues across other Technology and the firm wide functions to define and execute on an accelerated multi-year roadmap to modernize these platforms
- Remove friction points that prevent teams from developing at speed and transform at scale the various technology platforms with in the enterprise
- Solution for common components and frameworks, leveraging a dedicated team of engineers as well as partnering with functional towers
- Contribute and build Architecture community in JPM WM India & CCB organization
The individual would have experience in product operating model development, cloud development, domain driven design, microservices & APIs, containerization, development of computational intensive products, and big data. She or he will also have strong influencing and negotiating skills and be able to advance the firm's roadmap programs such as Single Sourcing of data, Architecture Convergence, and Rationalization of Platforms. The architect would foster adoption of industry leading technologies to support best-in-class business capabilities for high performance computing and data storage solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in building enterprise level solutions with recent and meaningful experience in cloud & digital transformation
- Financial Industry experience required, Wealth Management exposure preferred
- In addition:
- Strong Architecture experience in building enterprise applications across varied platforms
- Hands on technologist with strong expertise in building reliable, scalable, and stable enterprise applications leveraging top 3 public Cloud vendors, preferably AWS
- Strong on event driven design - KAFKA, MicroServices/API Gateway, CloudFoundry & Spark
- Strong application design skills with a focus on delivering cloud native solutions
- Strong expertise in designing applications leveraging RDBMS, CI/CD Pipelines, Agile, BI Tools, Programming Languages (Java, Python)
- Strong analytical and communication skills both written and verbal

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Seasoned expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Mastery of architecture, design, and business processes
- Complete understanding of industry-wide technology strategies and best practices
- Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
- Expertise in leading collaborative teams to achieve common goals
