Senior Network Administrator - Chennai @ Williams Lea

Outline of Role:

• The Senior Network Consultant or Administrator would be responsible to manage the Companys Firewalls, Switches and Routers, Network Design as well as Network Security on Cisco and Juniper products.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• Demonstrate expertise in network setups with VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol, PoE, Ether channel, HSRP, Routing Protocols, TACAS+, Site-to-Site VPN configurations, DHCP, etc.
• Understanding and experience in configuring and installing various network devices. (e.g. routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.)
• Management and maintenance of MPLS and Internet Leased Lines.
• Experience in network performance, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Experience to work on Network Security - vulnerability remediation etc
• Demonstration ability to think strategically about solutions to business, product, and technical challenges.
• Experience with Cisco Meraki setups including Wireless Access points, switching and SD-WAN appliances
• Working knowledge of Juniper switching management and configurations
• Experience with Zoom technology implementations including Meetings, and Softphones.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong experience supporting Global locations handling L3/L4 tickets with 24/7 production environment.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience to manage Network components and provide solutions for Cisco products.
• Prior experience to work on Azure AWS Cloud technology related to Networks would be an advantage. Our Network Support setup and VPN will be based on Azure, so experience in this realm would also be a good idea and preferable over AWS.
• Able to work well independently and well as along with the team under pressure and at a high work rate.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to create project plans and task lists for PMO for projects.
• Excellent inter-personal skills: diplomatic and able to inspire user and employee confidence
