Job Description
Application Engineer keen to help key customers designs and build the next generation of capacitive and inductive sensing solutions using Infineon CapSense and MagSense products. In this new role, you will:
. Enable Design-win projects using Infineon's sensing portfolio involving capacitive and inductive sensing technologies by defining and building reference designs, creating technical articles and application notes.
. Analyse competitor's products to understand competitive advantages and refine next generation sensing solution requirements, and demonstrate transition to IFX-based solutions
. Initiate and drive creative end solutions using product's capabilities and feature set
. Own the datasheet, Application notes and reference design for product lines
. Define the development kits and reference designs for the next generation CapSense and MagSense products.
. Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Customers, and Design teams to create suitable product solution
. Provide design proposals and technical definition for Firmware, Middleware, and Hardware blocks
. Train customers, sales and FAEs on product features and solutions.
. Plan and execute projects along with other team members
. Mentor and guide junior team members
Your Profile
. Technical Degrees (BE/Btech/ME/Mtech) in Electronics Engineering or similar with work experience of 8-12 years in embedded system development
. Strong knowledge of system-level design and architecture in the embedded domain i.e.
- Good knowledge of programming in C/C++ and embedded firmware development
- Knowledge of common peripheral communication (I2C/UART/SPI) protocols.
- Competent in comprehending schematics and PCB layouts.
- Familiarity with usage of lab equipment like oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyser, spectrum analyser etc.
. Ability to debug and solve complex issues with hardware and firmware integration
. Passion to build new solutions and novel algorithms/approaches.
. Attention to detail, Proactive problem solving and self-driven
. Knowledge and experience of EMI/EMC standards and corresponding hardware and firmware techniques is preferred.
