- To establish the optimum product mix for ss.com & Amazon.in. Ensure timely cataloging & 100% availability of store options online.
- To pro-actively seek out and develop new business opportunities for the category, consistent with the product strategy, to offer a balance of choice, value, quality, fashionability and desirability, to the consumer.
- To ensure that financial plans are developed in line with market trends, balancing risks and opportunities and to develop contingency plans to achieve net margin plan for the Category and maximize profitability while controlling overall stocks at the budgeted norms.
- To work with the Site Merchandising team to ensure that there is consistent, appropriate and unique product visibility across the site.
- Create a Merchandise calendar with Site merchandising and plan Campaigns and promotions around it.
- Coordinate with marketing team for social media and digital marketing activations.
- To manage Category budgeted expenditure within agreed levels.
- Regularly track Competition's activities and consumer's needs and buying pattern.
- Should be able to create a sense of ownership with in the team & clearly define the responsibilities & accountability with in the team.
- Should continuously update oneself with market trends.
- To ensure that the skills of all direct reportees are fully developed through a balance of training and coaching, and to manage individual performance so that full potential can be realized
