Job Description - QA Manager: 10-15 Years
We are looking for a dynamic QA Manager As an QA Manager, delivery quality along with people management. Candidate will directly work with Delivery Manager / Project Manager to understand milestones and should closely work with Business Team to understand the requirements at same time. Implementing QA practices, development of Test Strategies, Test Plan, identifying automation scope, test execution and monitoring of test execution will be primary responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Coach Quality Engineers to improve their performance. Help them in understanding delivery objective, milestone and producing quality artifacts.
- People performance management to quality engineering team to assigned project / multiple projects.
- Developing and maintaining Test Strategies and Test Plan.
- Reviewing quality of Test Scripts / Test Case produced by team and provide constructive feedback.
- Focus on developing and maintain traceability to ensure test coverage.
- Monitoring Test Execution in sprint delivery as well as in overall delivery.
- Support and performs all phase of testing leading to implementation.
- Perform Independent analysis of functional, regression, exploratory, E2E and smoke testing.
- Provide continuous improvement ideas and focus on implementing those.
- Need to work closely with Sr. QA Manager, Delivery Lead to understand Quality related issues and work on mitigation plan.
- Identify Automation scope and focus on increasing delivery quality.
- Helping different initiatives like Performance Testing, Security Testing etc.
- Participate in team project planning, agile ceremonies and retrospection.
- Experience in defect management tool like Jira, Azure etc. Creating and maintaining QA dashboards.
- Should be responsible for providing Quality reports to project stake holders.
Requirements
- Bachelors/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Test Planning and Execution experience
- Experience working with Development, Business Partners, Production Support, and Change Management partners.
- Experience in Agile SDLC.
- Strong SQL Query writing Skills.
- Exposure in ETL Testing - Data migration, conversion, Data quality check
- Test lead experience with onshore-offshore model
- Understanding of End to End Testing Cycles using Agile, Waterfall methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in driving the QA release cycle End to end, defect reporting
- Hands-on work experience in preparing Test plans, Test Scripts and RTM.
- Insurance Domain experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication Skills and Presentation Skills.
- Demonstrated Analytical, Problem solving and Interpersonal Skills.
