Desired Candidate Profile
Responsibilities- Design implement Azure infrastructure and services for customer environments.
- Ability to Design, Deploy and maintain enterprise-class security, network, and systems management applications within an Azure environment.
- Design and implement availability, scalability, and performance plans for the Azure platform.
- Experience with a process that focuses on a Continual re-evaluation of existing stack and infrastructure to maintain optimal performance, availability, and security for Customer deployments.
- Implement process and quality improvements through task automation. Institute infrastructure as code, security automation, and automation or routine maintenance tasks for clients.
- Perform data migration from on-premises environments into Azure
Required Candidate profile
- Possess at least MCSA: Cloud Platform and be willing to continuously pursue others to address specific business needs and Microsoft Competency requirements.
- Intimate familiarity with the Azure Application Architecture Guide
- Familiarity with the Azure Onboarding Guide for IT Organizations
- Extensive experience with Azure (Azure Compute, Azure Storage, Azure App Service model, Azure Networks)
- Experience with automation/configuration management using Azure Templates, Json, Puppet, Chef, Ansible or similar.
- Experience with OMS, Systems Center, or similar monitoring tool.
- Experience with Web Services (SOAP, RESTful, REST, API, )
- Knowledge of data migration (to public cloud) practices and technologies.
- Strong background in Linux and windows.
- Scripting experience (Ruby, Python, Bash, PowerShell, )
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
- Knowledge of federal security requirements: NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA, Hippa, HiTrust, PII, .
- Knowledge of containerization a plus
- Knowledge of agile software development practices and release management
- Thorough understanding of Cloud Computing: virtualization technologies, Network principles, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service and Software as a Service Cloud delivery models and the current competitive landscape.
