Desired Candidate Profile
The Tech Lead Infrastructure will be part of the SABA Cloud Operations team and will be responsible for building a distributed computing operating system, middleware, services layer abstraction and operational API - taking our vision of global e-commerce SAAS platform to reality. Our goal is to manage a platform used by the customer and maintain 99.99% availability and scale the environment to support the ever-changing customer needs.Success in this role requires very strong technical skills, a broad background, and understanding of every layer of the systems ecosystem. It is absolutely critical that you have skills to work in a dynamic, fast-paced technical environment. Technical requirements:
- Extensive hands-on technical skills to cover installation, configuration, administration and advanced troubleshooting on UNIX/LINUX environment
- Experience of working within a Service environment and technical teams of IT experts
- Programming skills, scripting languages & build tools - Strong experience on scripting languages like shell/python, Ansible.
- Working experience on Windows/VMware, Microsoft Windows NT
- Knowledge of Databases: Microsoft SQL Server versions 2000, 2005, 2008, 2012 and Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g, 11g, Oracle High Availability with Dataguard, MS SQL Server Single Instance and Cluster.
- Working knowledge on SAN (switches, svc virtualization, storage subsystems), NAS (primary, secondary - snap mirror, snap vault, archive), Backup
- Should be experienced in DR, operational services, compliance, capacity analysis and vendor management
- A holistic view of IT Infrastructure, Be the proponent and ensure the adoption of preventive maintenance to pro-actively manage the SaaS infrastructure and ensure overall system stability
- Architecture of Cloud Infrastructure, Manage & Optimize the cost as per the usage. Cloud Scaling, from an IT resource perspective to handle increased or decreased usage demands.
- Manage service SLAs and support L1-L3 for Data center infrastructure operations. Maintain Availability, Performance, Scalability, Security, CSAT & SLAs for core infrastructure.
- Own and manage infrastructure related to computing facilities used by Persistent workforce such as servers, storage, and virtualization.
- Own and manage infrastructure services related to intranet and other IT applications such as Nagios, Check-MK, Solarwind etc.
- Periodic security audits of the services offered and compliance to standards
- Use ITIL process framework to assure trouble-free release of new or upgraded infrastructure and solutions
- Prepare and keep the Standard Operations Procedures for all infrastructure components up to date.
- Regularly review and audit the performance of the System Integrator and the Original Equipment Manufacturer partners.
- Experience with customizing Linux operating systems for a small footprint, manageability, security, and performance.
- Strong knowledge of architectures for high availability, reliability, and scalability.
- Experience of being able to highlight issues and solutions
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- A broad understanding of enterprise-class technologies
Required Candidate profile
- Experience : 10 -15 years
- Should have held Tech Lead Position for min of 2-5 years, 10-15 years of overall experience
- Bachelor Degree in BE,MCA, B.sc (Computers) / BCA
- Certification preferred: RHCE, MCSE, CISP, ITIL, 6SIGMA
- Background in ITIL service management, with successful track record of implementing configuration, change and incident management solutions and the supporting processes and best practices.
- Solid technical background in Linux/Unix, networking, database technologies and replication, storage management including SAN and NAS, x86 server technologies, capacity management, performance management and modeling, disaster recovery.
- Proven track record of successfully leading Cloud based service delivery organization toward compliance for compliance standards like SSAE 16 SOC2 (SAS 70 Type 2), PCI, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
