Job SummaryThe Senior Executive - Warehouse will be based in Sriperambadur. The Senior Executive - Warehouseperforms inbound and outbound logistics. Additionally, will be taking care of inventory control and inventory maintenance
Here is a glimpse of what you ll do:
- Responsible for maintaining, receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Reponsible for compling with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Should be responsible to safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Will be controlling inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Monitors volume of business and determines appropriate work schedule.
- Sets productivity and establishes necessary controls to ensure objectives are met.
- Monitors condition and maintenance of operating / material handling equipment.
- Should be involved in monitoring the efficient handling of shipments and receipts to create an error free culture on a regular basis.
- Review the loading and unloading schedules to maximize efficiencies and reduce expenses.
- Coordinate with floor cycle counts, physical inventory and reconciling records.
Here is some of what you ll need:
- Min 5years of experience in inbound and out bound logistics.
- Hands on experience in inventory control and inventory maintenance.
- Should have experience in handling third party logistics.
- Should posses knowledge on quality tools 8D, FMEA tools.
Here are a few of our preferred experiences:
- Preferably B.E./B.Tech / MBA.
- Experience in EMS Industry.
