Job Description
Responsibilities
- Building developer facing libraries in TypeScript and various JavaScript frameworks
- Develop and foster strong relationships with developers on multiple engineering teams within and outside the Azure division.
- Seek opportunities in our day-to-day workflow to improve quality and efficiency from ideation to deployment.
- Use your experience with a broad range of technology stacks, platforms, and workflow tools to do your best, most efficient work and teach others to do the same.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree
- 7+ years of software development experience
- Strong expertise (5+ years) in Web applications, JavaScript, TypeScript, and various JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React etc.
- 5+ years Expertise in building scalable server applications and reusable modules in the Typescript and Node ecosystems using npm , webpack, gulp or grunt.
Preferred
- Experience delivering highly secure, reliable, and maintainable code.
- Ability to learn and grasp concepts quickly in a fast-paced environment is critical to success.
- Demonstrable Experience with non-trivial client-side or server-side application in .Net framework, or Java/JavaScript.
- Familiarity with React Native, NodeJS and Express JS will be a plus.
- Ability to communicate ideas effectively.
- Experience working in cloud platform is a plus.
- Experience with Highcharts , amcharts and d3.
- Experience building accessible websites that meet WCAG standards.
