Responsibilities:
Experience in data governance initiatives in the areas of metadata management, data quality and master data management (MDM).
Experience in the use of data catalogues and data quality technologies
Experience in operating large data governance programs. Knowledge of Cloud based big data frameworks such as data lake, relational, Graph and other no-SQL databases
Experience in managing enterprise data assets in a large, complex organization
Hands on experience in in data lifecycle management along with enablement of governance tools and technologies such as Collibra, Talend governance, Informatica Axon, Qlik catalog etc
Identify and recommend data quality and profiling rules as per the source system data
Co-ordinate with various stake holders in setting up of Business Glossary
Co-ordinate with Collibra architect and developers to configure data profiling and data quality rules
Assist in lineage requirements and setup of the same in coordination with SMEs and Collibra developers
Experience in working with cross functional and geographically separated teams
Experience in presenting technical and business executive presentations to leadership
Technical Skillset:
Understanding of privacy laws and regulations.
Excellent technical abilities are the most important asset for data governance analysts.
lifecycle management experience of governance tools and technologies such as Collibra, Talend governance, Informatica Axon, Qlik catalog etc
technical skills or knowledge including database modeling principles, SQL, Security Master, and Microsoft Office.
