Job Description
* Description- Design and Application Engineering for Steam Turbine Governor /Boiler / BOP/Hydro controls for DCS / PLC retrofit & greenfield projects
- Accomplishing Process Testing of for Steam Turbine Governor /Boiler / BOP controls through Tie-Back Simulation
- Conducting customer FAT/SAT
- Performing site commissioning including plant Start-Up
- Design and Application Engineering for Steam Turbine Governor /Boiler / BOP/Hydro controls for DCS / PLC retrofit & greenfield projects
- Accomplishing Process Testing of for Steam Turbine Governor /Boiler / BOP controls through Tie-Back Simulation
- Conducting customer FAT/SAT
- Performing site commissioning including plant Start-Up
Site walk-downs for data collection
Design and implementation of Boiler / BOP and/or Steam Turbine
Process simulation & testing
Pre-FAT, FAT & SAT
Verification and functional testing of I/O interfaces to field devices
I/O database partitioning for redundancy and fail-safe configurations
Boiler / BOP/Steam Turbine commissioning & start-up
Working with contractors / sub-contractors
Nurturing smooth collaboration and communication with all stake holders
, * Requirements- . Tech. / B.E. (ECE, EE, I&C, E&I)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Engineering/commissioning for Thermal/CCPP Power Projects.
- Hands on with one or more DCS platforms (e.g. ABB Pro Control / Bailey INFI 90, Siemens T3000 / TXP, GE Mark VI,Rx3i, Invensys, Honeywell TDC3000, Max DNA, Metso DNA, Alstom Alspa320 etc.)
- Excellent language and communication skills; both verbal and written
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and commissioning documents
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to queries from groups of managers, clients and customers
- Ability to interface with vendors & sub-contractors
- Ability to troubleshoot DCS/PLC control system
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
Ready to take travelling assignment
