Hiring for Leadership Director role for a reputed E-commerce Company at Bangalore
Educational Qualification: MBA/PGDM from Tier 1 institute or Premier B-School is a mandate (2******** batch apply only)
Job Description:
About the role:
As a senior member of the Business Strategy team you will play a pivotal role in influencing strategic decisions for the company. You will be part of a carefully selected, high-performing, highly motivated team. You will get an opportunity to demonstrate your leadership skills and inspire various internal stakeholders to realize E-commerce longer-term vision/ goals.
Specifically, you will be responsible to:
- Partner with business unit heads and senior leaders to understand their strategic choices/ problem areas
- Conduct outside-in market and competitive analysis to develop key insights
- Outline strategic choices and develop fact-backed solution themes/ recommendations
- Develop high-quality materials and align with various cross-functional stakeholders
- Convert strategies into action and drive the changes required
- Support the fund-raising activities, investor meetings and board reviews
- Evaluate new business initiatives and opportunities develop a business model and
- identify ways to service the opportunities
- Partner with external consultants, sellers, brands for deeper grasp of market trends
What youll do:
- Act a trusted sounding board to peers
- For high priority problem statements, work with Corp Strat leadership and stakeholders to define the problem scope, identify key hypotheses, define analyses plan and gain agreement on key deliverables and timelines
- Think beyond immediate problem statements, to create long-term, end-to-end perspective, and demonstrate ability to proactively identify strategic opportunities
- As a leader of the analysis team, autonomously drive and iterate on key analyses to uncover insights leveraging existing and new information sources
- Bring together insights to develop well-rounded recommendations and help communicate them effectively
- Manage stakeholder expectations, communicate effectively and drive the organization to action
- This role will provide a great seat-at-the-table to learn and influence the development of consumer internet in India and will act a launch pad for impact in horizontal and vertical roles over a period of time.
What youll need:
- MBA degree from a leading business school in India/ Abroad
- 10-14 years of experience in a top consulting firm (Engagement Manager/ Manager/ Project Leader level) or 10+ years in a corporate strategy role
- Strong understanding in consumer internet, technology, retail domains
- Superior analytical skills including strong ability to identify and solve highly ambiguous problems
- Ability to connect with people across teams and levels
Mandatory Skills:
Strategy development, market research and synthesis, stakeholder management, analytical problem solving skills, MBA qualification
