Senior Program Manager - Hyderabad @ Microsoft

We are looking for skilled Product Managers to help us build world class products and solutions under our AIOps Charter.

You will be involved in analyzing user pain points and business context, articulating the right problem, impact & user experience.

You will understand the technology and competitive landscape to deliver high quality products & features, to help solve the problem & create value.

You will interface with internal and external partners/users to evangelize these technologies and foster adoption, while using customer feedback to continually improve the services.

You would also present the platform vision and roadmap to customers and conference audiences.

Ability and aptitude truly understand and articulate problems & understand technology to help solve those problems is a must. Use research & experiments to quickly iterate in a fast-paced technology space is also required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and interview our customers in order to understand and articulate their pain points
• Research and benchmark against internal and external products to leverage solutions out of the box and to produce world class products and experiences.
• Create multi-semester/year product vision & backlog .
• Use data and heuristics to build business case, prioritize product backlog & help influence executive leaders & stakeholders buy-in
• Create mock-ups & design experiences
• Use telemetry data to constantly improve the user experience & performance of the applications.
• Partner with end users/customers, business stakeholders and enterprise architects in analyzing requirements, impacts, proposing and flushing out to detailed designs, and finally driving the designs to completion through Feature Team virtual team leadership
• Collaborate and partner with global engineering and PM teams.
• Drive and influence architecture and design conversations with engineering teams
• Engage with upstream and downstream services to effectively ensure the product meets the eco-system needs.

• 10+ years of IT/Product Engineering experience of which 5+ years operating in a complex, multi-system environment as product owner (or related).
• Experience with shipping at least 3 full product releases, from product inception, release through live site support.
• Excellent product management skills including problem articulation, customer engagement, data-analysis, problem solving, product envisioning, prototyping and shipping MVPs. Experience with complex cross-functional teams, with a track record of successful launches on time and within budget.
• Experience with Agile development philosophy & tools like Azure DevOps or similar.
• Experience in designing modern web & mobile UI/UX, mock-ups, user journey maps.
• Experience in capturing telemetry data & creating dashboards to get insights & using the data to make decisions. Using technologies like Azure App Insights, Azure Data Explorer, Microsoft PowerBI or similar.
• Excellent communication, customer relationship and senior stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to effectively deal with ambiguous situations.

Other Helpful Skills for this Position Include:

• Experience in Product Management discipline in a start-up environment
• Experience/background in Cloud technologies & Artificial Intelligence
• Hands-on working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Azure App Insights, Azure Data Explorer (Kusto) queries, PowerBI or similar
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, engineering or a related field; MBA preferred
