As a Manager Catalog Operations, your primary responsibility is to manage all aspects of catalog creation & expansion either via ShopClues in-house catalog team or via third party merchant. You will be responsible of managing a team of catalog analysts and provide leadership for cataloging to ensure high thru-puts, SLA and Quality of our Product Catalog. The person should be a good people manager with a strong process orientation. You and your team will also be the primary contact for merchants and internals teams for all catalog related issues and their resolutions. You should have ability to work with the senior management to give feedback on the pain points of catalog operation processes so that it can be iteratively improved. You will also be responsible for creation of catalog related MIS, Reporting for different stakeholders. At least 3 to 4 years of experience in similar type of role.
An ideal candidate will possess following:
1. Prior experience in managing catalog creation and operations in an e-commerce company
2. Managing merchant and customer support questions around catalog backlog & quality
3. Open for communication with respective operational departments and merchants
4. Personnel with Eye for details
5. Zeal to learn and understand new technologies and processes
6. Compiling and clearing backlogs within required timeframe
7. Knowledge of e-commerce and retail industry would be an added advantage
8. Good Interpersonal and communication skills, tactful handling of sensitive, confidential issues ability to resolve complaints and timely completion of executive-level reports and presentation
9. Inclination towards Technology ' preferred
10. Ability to manage a team
