Role summary:
As Technical Lead of UI team, you will be working on large scale distributed systems, dealing internet scale components. You will be working with a team of smart and highly capable Principal engineers, Design team and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation
You will have to demonstrate your technical mettle and influence and inspire the engineers to build things right.
Experience: 7 - 10 yrs. of hands-on experience in Software product development Organisation in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Required Skills:
- Solid CS fundamentals are a must. (Data structures, Algorithms, OS, Databases)
- Good understanding of data structure and algorithms for writing optimized JS code
- Technologically savvy with excellent communication abilities is a must.
- Experience in developing high-performance distributed systems is a must.
- Strong Object Oriented programming knowledge with JavaScript.
- Experience working with any JavaScript framework, preferably React.js (Backbone, Dojo, Breez Reef).
- Strong HTML 5.0 skills; knowledge of how to use appropriate hooks in HTML 5.0 to limit the amount of classes and IDs required on a page.
- Deep understanding of CSS inheritance and how to use it to your advantage.
- A good ideology for managing maintainable, scalable and cross-browser code across large sites.
- In-depth knowledge of IE quirks and how to address them.
- Experience working on ECMA5, 6 standard JS.
- Knowledge on working with NodeJS will be good.
Responsibilities:
You will be a part of [24]7 Innovation Labs R&D Assist platform Engineering team.
- Solve complex and difficult problems at technology, product or team level.
- Create effective and innovative solutions with the team.
- Own & contribute significantly in design of components and workflows.
- Partner closely with the user interface designers on development of front end
- You are expected to develop prototypes of the system design and work with Principal Engineers, Architects, testers and product management to ensure we're building the best products.
- Works with architects to ensure designs align with overall SOA, application architecture standards and practices.
- You may work on multiple projects and products, actively involved in UI Optimization.
- Guides the team in the thinking and decision-making process and calls out risks and dependencies.

- Assist in the development of and implements standards for platform components.
- You will contribute as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; providing tech knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor.
- You will be developing bug free, new features for a high performance, maintainable, scalable web applications.
- Define and enforce front end coding standards, accessibility and other technical standards
- Ensure that front-end code runs efficiently and helping to make the best products possible
- Design and write code for responsive web that scale to high-volume production quality
- Prototype creative solutions quickly, and be able to collaborate with others in crafting and implementing your technical vision
- Provide technical leadership to scrum teams & mentor junior developers
- Research & Development (R&D) in emerging technologies
