Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Follow Drupal standard coding guidelines while working on customizations.
- Writing clean and high standard code and proficient in code review (peer review).
- Write unit test cases and test written code to ensure bug-free releases.
- Understand business requirements well and contribute effectively during project discussions or meetings.
- Be proactive towards the solution of problems at hand and able to work independently towards root cause analysis of the problems.
- Work with deadlines and ensure delivery with complete ownership.
- Solving our clients enterprise needs and business problems relating to CMS experience, and meeting delivery deadlines together with the team is what is expected.
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Drupal customisation with in-depth understanding of code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy and fallback components.
- Knowledge of Drupal Theme & Modules Creation, Theme & Modules Customization.
- Ability to architect enterprise Drupal solutions including data, display, and information architecture
- Expert knowledge of Drupal 8.
- Knowledge of Ajax commands, Drupal behaviors, hooks, featured module and Familiarity with Drupal modules such as CTools, Views, and Panels.
- Extended knowledge in LAMP environment - expertise in PHP, MySQL and Web Services.
- Extensive knowledge of relational databases (MySQL) including complex SQL queries.
- Proficient in front-end development (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS & jQuery)
- Able to follow Drupal standard coding guidelines while working on customizations
- Drupal APIs customisation and integration (REST/SOAP).
- Hands-on with caching and scaling techniques.
- Hands-on experience with GIT version control tool. Should understand various branching strategies, code merging. and deployment.
- Written at least a few custom Drupal modules from scratch (bonus for contrib modules).
- Understanding of taxonomy and taxonomy systems.
- Experience in site optimization (module selection, caching, etc.).
- Experience integrating open source and third-party applications into existing systems.
- Knowledge of SEO coding best practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 3+ yrs of handson Drupal development experience.
- Experience in Drupal & Lightning.
- Impressive communication with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent problem solving capabilities and analytical skills.
- Drupal Backend Developer certification is a plus.
- Working knowledge of CI/ CD workflow is a bonus.
- Results-oriented, reliable, able to work under pressure.
