Software Engineer V - Kolkata - Cerner

Job Description

• As a Software Engineer V, you will function as a Senior Architect and lead the architecture, development of platform components for enterprise products.
• You will be responsible for creating architectural designs and performing code reviews on technical and functional correctness to build scalable and performance-optimized products.
• You will proactively identify gaps in the existing architecture and development process, acting as a catalyst for change for greater system and product efficiency.
• You will leverage deep technical and solution expertise to create clear, well-constructed technical designs of large scope and Code for high-risk projects that have product dependencies within and outside the current team and promote engineering culture and values across the organization.
• You are also expected to demonstrate broad thought leadership and influence through sharing knowledge outside the team through mentorship, coaching, technical talks, and blogs.

At least 10 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:

• 3 years software engineering work experience

7 years higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job including:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

• At least 14 years of work experience in software engineering
• Experience in C++, Java/J2EE, REST APIs and Microservice development
• Knowledge on OpenStack, DevOps will be an added advantage
