Lead Software Engineer(J2EE &) @ Blue Yonder

• Seeking an astute individual that has a strong technical foundation with the additional ability to be hands-on with the broader engineering team as part of the development/deployment cycle, and deep knowledge of industry best practices, with the ability to implement them working with both the platform, and the product teams.

Scope:

• Core responsibilities to include design and development (along with counterparts and distinguished Architects) of Emerging Warehouse, a ground up cloud native (we use Azure) SaaS product.
• The team currently comprises of 20+ global associates across US, India and is expected to grow rapidly. The incumbent will need to have leadership qualities to also mentor junior and mid-level software associates in our team

Our current technical environment:

• Software: Java, Spring boot, Gradle, GIT, Hibernate, Rest API, OAuth, ReactJS, GraphQL
• Application Architecture : Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture
• Cloud Architecture : MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, Application gateway, Azure Service Bus, Azure Data Storage, Azure AD)
• Frameworks/Others : Kubernetes, Kafka, NOSQL, RDBMS, Gradle GIT, Jenkins

What you ll do:

• Design and development of new features on the product
• Contribute to the performance improvements security enhancements on the product
• Build, run and own the code on the cloud
• Involve in requirement analysis, design discussions to come up with solutions that drives the product forward
• Handle customer interactions for technical problems. Should respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders
• Manage the CI/CD pipelines
• Automation testing to ensure 100% code coverage
• Collaborate with customers, internal stake holders and take the features forward
• Contribute to our innovation track
• Mentors junior developers in the team

What we are looking for:

• 7+ years of Experience in software development with minimum 2+ years of experience in working on Microservices architecture, data modelling and distributed system design
• Experience with API management platforms providing / consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with varied tools such as Spring Boot, OAuth, REST, GraphQL, Hibernate, NoSQL, RDBMS, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, React.
• Experience with any cloud application deployment, AWS, GCP, Spring cloud, however, prefer Azure over the others.
• Quick Learner, Result Oriented and work in a start-up mode for building and productizing prototype
• Demonstrable experience, thorough knowledge, and interests in Cloud native architecture, Distributed micro-services, Multi-tenant SaaS solution and Cloud Scalability, performance, and High availability
• Prefer profiles with basic understanding of AI/ML
• Strong understanding on Security, Monitoring and Diagnostics (cloud) and Dev-ops
• Prefer profiles with previous experience with Warehouse/fulfillment or any ecommerce products
