Dy Manager - Project Coordinator / Project @ Schneider Electric

This will include his key responsibilities:

• Coordinate between plant team and project team for successful implementation of projects in the plant.

• Lead parts management for line qualification and pilot run : parts requirement estimation, order follow up, documents tracking for payments, follow up with logistic team for import of parts, keep tracking of inventory , organize pilot parts inspection

• Co-ordinate with Project and plant during line installation , trials and qualification, PVP samples building, pilot run (build schedule, organize resources, organize components, report the key indicators/ deliverables)

• Lead the team in plant to do the root cause analysis and execute the actions for closing all observations during qualification/ pilot run

• Co-ordinate with localization team for qualification activities in plant for parts localization, samples build, stock build etc

• Support project management for deliverables of manufacturing line and parts management

• Follow up with plant functions for reporting key indicators during production ramp up phase

• Co-ordinate with assembly line vendors for execution of actions in line as defined with project team

• Lead Masterdata creation activities in plant by co-ordinating plant functions Masterdata administrator

• Additional responsibility of end- to- end management of less complex projects (with low capex and lead-time)

• Build industrial scenarios, Capex / Opex estimation and BCI

• Preparation for stage gates with all deliverables list status

• Scheduling till ramp up phase

• Risk analysis and mitigation plan on schedule, capacity, quality risks

• Co-ordinate process qualification, closure of actions on non-conformities

• Execute upstream supply chain flows

• Co-ordinate for Masterdata actions and costing release

• Lead to define execute Down stream supply chain flow , forecast, System readiness

• Co-ordinate with design/ Engg team for Technical support during all the phases of project

1. Required skills knowledge for the position:

• Strong experience in at least one of industrialisation core trade (preferred in assembly process skills)

• Good knowledge of all industrialisation field (assembly, tooling, manufacturing process, advanced quality, value analysis)

• knowledge in supply chain actions and management of small projects

• Methods engineer of a manufacturing plant can be a good profile

• 6 sigma knowledge is not necessary but is a plus

2. Required Educational Background Professional Experience:

Degree in Mechanical engineering or Electrical engineering with good mechanical knowledge

Minimum 4 to 5 years professional experience

Similar job in different industry is a also a good possibility (automotive .)
