Job Description
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and scripts based on design specifications outlined in user storiesCreate and update test cases according to project details and schedule.
Understand requirements & user stories, system requirements and create corresponding test cases.
Write, execute, and update testing scripts to automate test cases.
Track defects, create and maintain testing reports.
Perform basic security testing and performance testing.
Communicate testing progress, results, and other relevant information to the project team and other stakeholders based on test plans.
Able to compose and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
Strong documentation, communication, and team collaboration skills.
Experience with Selenium & REST ASSURED/JUnit framework for API testing, API testing with Postman (preferred).
Good Understanding of REST API types (GET, PUT, POST, DELETE) and its working
Knowledge with load testing using JMeter or similar tool.
Knowledge of performance testing via ZAP or similar tool.
Experience in GUI testing, mobile and Desktop application testing.
Experience in software testing within iterative development methodologies like Agile.
Good knowledge in databases Testing
Desired Profile:
Experience in testing various applications, services and user interfaces
Experience in test automation and creating repeatable, maintainable, automated test suites
Experience managing a team of QA Engineers
Experience in communicating with clients
Understanding of test driven development
Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices
Understanding of Agile and Waterfall processes
Understanding of user interface design
Strong knowledge of software quality assurance best practices & methodologies
Familiarity with various defect management systems
