STB Testing @ Quest Global

Job Description

Must have:
.Hands on experience in testing Hybrid STB i.e both OTT and Cable STB
.Good knowledge in Android internals, APIs and working
.Good Knowledge of Transport Streams ,SI/PSI tables
.Good debugging skills in Android OS using ADB Shell, different logging methods and analysis of logs
.Proficiency in Testing ATV & AOSP Set Top Boxes with in-depth Knowledge of Android
.System performance testing experience
.Exposure in designing Test Topologies, test cases based on the use cases
.Prior experience with Quality Assurance testing software including Manual test and automated functional testing.
.Understanding of software QA methodologies, practices, and processes.
.Experience in bug reporting, test reporting and tracking bugs
Desired skills:
.Shell scripting and automation experience and preferably in Python
.Usage of testing tools like Wireshark, iPerf, and automation framework
.Prior experience in testing PC platforms will be an advantage
.Exposure to Networking and WiFi technologies and testing
.GUI validation, browser validation will be an added advantage
.Experience in Digital video domain with hands on testing experience on IPTV, OTT projects with STB and Mobile devices.
.Knowledge in internals of Windows OS and debugging
