Job Description
Dear Candidates
Job Summary:
Performs assigned duties independently, assists in direct patient care & co-ordinates in clinical and non-clinical operations and quality.
Job Location:
Delhi, Hyderabad ,Bangalore, Mumbai , Chennai
Duties and Responsibilities:
1 Coordinates among doctor, hospital, central team and insurance team.
2 Receives and greets the patients in the hospital, and ensures the files required are collected.
3 Checks files and ensures that all results and reports are updated.
4 Checks patients vitals before being seen by the Doctor.
5 Flexibility for travel within the city
6 Helps the patient in filling the registration and admission form.
7 Follow up on results for samples sent. Receive reports and file accurately-keep surgeons informed on the test results and imaging results
8 Assists doctors in examination of patients.
9 Assists patient in completion of any other investigation like ultrasound, X-ray etc.
10 Provides help in another Practo OPD when required.
11 Maintains OP registers and ensures files are complete.
12 Assists in calling patients to ensure that appointment is complete and closed with the Doctor.
13 Maintenance and inventory of stock and equipment designated to him/her.
14 Prepares and sends day cases to OT for procedures within 30-45 minutes before surgery.
15 Getting corrections done from the hospital in the documents provided by them if required.
16 Collecting final bill, discharge summary, bill break-ups and coordination with the hospital team.
17 Performs any other task as requested by the Managers
18 Assist the patients family and relatives-during the visiting hours in meeting up with the doctor and the management if so needed
19 Ensure that the discharge time is kept to the minimum
20 Daily audit of all the Clinical and non-clinical checklist of the Practo patients and send the same to the Medical Superintendents office
21 Ensures that Medication Reconciliation is properly done, and medication management is flawless
22 Collect all the adverse events and report to the MS-also help the MS to do an RCA
23 Ensure that the nutritionist/dietician visits the Practo patients daily and that the Practo patients get diet as per the doctors advice and the food should be palatable
24 Ensure that the Physiotherapist sees the patients if so advised and help in early -out of bed ambulation and mobilization to discharge
25 Ensure that the patients who are discharged know when to contact their doctors-in case of emergency and how to contact them
26 Participate in training and education
27 Complete the Clinical checklists, IP checklists, T-4 checklist, etc and other reports as required from time to time
