Backend Application Developer (Node.JS, @ Hewlett Packard

Job Description

Responsibilities:
Development of Web applications on a node.js platform with ReactJS UI Framework
Define requirements by working with Business teams & architecture teams
Explore solutions for technical problems and present design proposals
Estimation of work, low-level design, coding and documentation
Testing, Deployment and support of applications

Education and Experience Required:
First-level university degree or equivalent experience in one of the following areas - Computer Science & Engineering, Information technology
Advanced university degree would be an additional advantage

Required Experience & Skills
Must have at least 6+ years of total experience
Minimum 4 years in REST-based Web applications using node.js
Minimum 3 years of UI development experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.js, React.js or Flux.js.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Experience with latest web technologies.
Experience with Object-Oriented design methodologies.
Strong debugging, problem-solving and investigative skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Skills
Working experience on Microservice architecture
Working experience on clusters. Docker EE, DC/OS is preferred.
Working knowledge of XML, CSV, JSON, YAML and Jenkins.
DevOps or CI/CD knowledge or experience is added advantage

Attributes
