Position : Product Manager/ Team Lead/ SSE/ SE - .NetLocation : Bangalore
Education : BE/B.Tech
Experience : 2- 15 Years
Compensation : Competitive and commensurate with candidate caliber and experience
Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile :
- Candidate must possess at least a BE/B.Tech Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent with 2-15 years of .Net experience.
- Exact placement into appropriate designation ( PM/TL/SSE/SE ) will depend on your experience level.
- This JD is largely for PM level and rest of the levels will require more or less similar tech skills with lesser experience. The management of projects/products,
- Typically involving the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology to meet identified business needs ensuring process control (adhering to the organizations laid down processes).
- Acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills.
- Execution of the project within agreed parameters of cost.
- Execution of the project within agreed timescales.
- Quality in accordance with the set processes of the organization.
- Takes responsibility for the definition, documentation and execution of one or more projects/products, actively participating in all phases of the project.
- Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project.
- Provides effective leadership to the project team (10/15 plus persons) ensuring that team members are motivated and developing their skills and experience.
- Actively represents the project team, ensuring that effective relationships are built and maintained with the business.
- Prepares and maintains realistic project, quality, and risk plans, including plans incorporating sub-projects, and monitors and controls team performance against each plan, providing reports to client/user management and senior management as required.
- Effectively estimates costs, timescales and resource requirements and monitor the same for the successful delivery of the project(s) to an agreed scope.
- Manages the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions to the project(s) from project sponsors.
- Ensures that own projects are closed out and where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are captured and auctioned. - Produces appropriate documentation to support these processes. - Should have achieved proficiency in the role of Project Management for at least 3-5 years. - Result oriented through effective team leadership, planning, control and formal review of IS projects. Required skill/role(s) : Project Management, Project Control, Project Estimating, Project Scheduling, Meets Deadlines, Project Management Tools, Communication, Microsoft Project, Project Leadership, Analytical Skills.
Preferred skill/role(s) : .NET (VB.NET, ASP.NET), Oracle (added advantage).
Preferred Certification(s) : Project Management Professional (PMP), Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM), Microsoft Certificated System Engineer 2000/2003 (MCSE).
Preferably Managers having experience in Shipping Domain/Industry.

PG: Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization
Doctorate: Doctorate Not Required
