QA Lead @ Thinksys Software

Desired Candidate Profile

6-8 years experience in testing
last 3+ years in the development of test plans, test strategy and scenarios for large scale applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide timely status updates to client and to senior management
Excellent abilities to understand application architecture, product requirements and business goal of the customer
Should have thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically QA processes in agile with participation in all Agile ceremonies & activities and be accountable for the sprint deliverable.
Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
Demonstrated capabilities in manual and automated testing.
Proficient with bug tracking and test management toolsets
Strong working knowledge of testing fundamentals such as TDD & BDD
Excellent skills in automation using tools like - Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, SoapUI, Postman etc. and should be able to review the code written by team
Proficient in any one programming language, preferably Java
Good understanding of Relational and NoSQL Databases
Proven capabilities to Lead and mentor QA team members on quality objectives and testing processes
