KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

More specifically (s)he must be:

• Work with customers/end users, platform owners, enterprise architects, and development teams to understand their pains needs.
• Work closely with the product management team to develop architectures that support product roadmap and targeted experiences.
• Performs impact analysis of new platform features and create a decomposition and allocation to functional and technical modules.
• Contribute to the platform architecture roadmap to translate the business and technology roadmaps into a stepwise evolution of the platform architecture towards the vision.
• Deliver architecture design and implementations in Azure.
• You will enable consuming teams to leverage your platform so they can do what they have to.
• Provide architecture leadership and direction.
• Leading and being involved in the hands-on technical delivery of projects
• Driving architecture and best practices by; contributing to tooling, producing white papers, mentoring, and implementing PoC s.
• Guiding C-level stakeholders ie Deploy the platform architecture to various stakeholders in their frame of reference.

B usiness Process Modelling and Re-engineering

• Work with process modelling tools and standards to document business processes. Understand business problems and design cause and effect diagrams. Apply Business Process Reengineering (BPR) principles.

Functional Analysis

• Analyze deficiencies in processes and information systems. Stay connected with latest technology capabilities. Identify software features to build solutions to process deficiencies. Write software features specifications and requirements.

Technical Analysis

• Based on software features specifications identify software requirements. Based on software features specifications identify data requirements. Based on software features specifications identify networking, communication and integration requirements.

Digital Architecture Development

• Map the different components of a digital architecture including data, software and features, hardware and networking/connections. Develop architecture and business rules. Define solution architecture life cycle, including master, prototypes, testing, demos, release, communication, training, maintenance and revisions. Standardize digital architectures so they can be reused in similar digital projects.

Risk Management

• Assess technical risk factors. Asses data related risk factors. Assess functional risk factors. Assess social risk factors. Use cost-benefit analysis methods. Propose mitigation approaches to risks.

Documentation and Training

• Document the digital solution architecture.
• Contribute to architecture network by creating and sharing documentation on reusable assets.
• Present current and future technical topics during lunch and learn sessions.
