Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work with product teams to shape the architecture, design, and implementation of new and existing systems to enhance their reliability, performance, efficiency, and scalability.
- Help product teams to develop and deploy on a cloud-native environment
- Ensure all key services are measured, monitored, and raising alerts when needed
- Develop automation of application deployment and configuration
- Active usage of monitoring tools (preferably exposure to Dynatrace) to improve the availability and performance of applications, services, systems, and infrastructure. Create new alerts to find anomalies and understand the root cause of system failures
- Act as a subject matter expert and coach to mentor developers and engineers, as well as assist junior developers with troubleshooting and debugging
- Develop reliability tools and frameworks for use by all engineers and products
- Coach and train developers on DevOps best practices
- Research, develop, configure and implement tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery
Desired Candidate Profile
- 4+ years of experience on DevOps/SRE or equivalent
- Strong experience in Python, bash scripting and/or PowerShell
- Experience with DevOps in Azure cloud.
- Experience in Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker
- Ability to take accountability (ownership) of issues and drive to completion working across multiple organizations and suppliers.
- Experience with deployment and support of Azure IaaS and PaaS
- Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines as CI/CD tool
- Experience with Azure monitoring and logging
- Experience with Operating Systems and Server Administration (Linux and Microsoft Server) Understanding of Microservice-based Architecture
- Ability to implement infrastructure as code. Preference is Terraform knowledge
- An understanding of application security and information security controls
- Ability to pick up and develop an end to end landscape overview, DR planning and execution
- A good understanding of large-scale distributed systems in practice, including multi-tier architectures, application security, monitoring and storage systems.
- Enterprise network skills (general understanding of firewalls, load balancing)
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
- Data Science platform/tools experience will be an advantage
Notice Period: Preferably immediate to 30 days
