Desired Candidate Profile

Lexent Bio seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead our India engineering R&D team. The successful candidate will join a team developing novel approaches for sequencing and analysing nucleic acids from patient blood and tissue samples. These methods will be employed to answer specific clinical questions, changing the way cancer treatment happens.

What were looking for:

Role:
You'll be able to lead a small group of engineers in India to augment our San Francisco engineering team
You have excellent project management skills with at-least 3 years of experience in leading teams
You enjoy working with code and are polyglot in your skillset
You'll brainstorm with Computational Biologists and Data-Scientists to conceptualize new features
You'll collaborate with other engineers to build new features for our large-and-growing data and machine learning workflows
You'll mentor other engineers and deeply review code

Education:

UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Computers

PG: Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization

Doctorate: Doctorate Not Required
