Senior/ Lead Engineer - Ruby on Rails @ QBurst

Job Description

Design and code using Ruby on Rails

Review and recommend changes to the code

Work with UX/ PM/ Client teams to identify all API requirements

Perform functional and non- functional tests to ensure overall product quality

Work with QA to review system test plans and test cases

Requirements:

Previous implementation and work experience with Ruby on Rails projects

Exposure to HTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax

Hands on experience with plugins and gems in Ruby

Understanding of web services - REST, SOAP

Working knowledge of MySQL/ PostgreSQL

Good experience in complex relational database design and optimisation

Ability to handle a UNIX (Linux/ Mac) system

Knowledge of cloud based services such as Amazon AWS, Google storage

Good knowledge of GIT and GITHUB

Good experience in using and configuring CI/ CD tools

Agile/ SCRUM exposure is desirable
