Ideal candidate has extensive experience in planning and managing concurrent projects of varying sizes, and has managed successful global implementation of PLM systems for Medical Device or Pharmaceuticals industries

Primary contact for customers across R&D, Manufacturing and other organizations

Job Description
Manage/lead entire project or service including technical solution, implementation, support and quality.
Manage deliverable from vendors and internal team members, identify risks in advance and put in place mitigation strategy.
Work with vendors in getting the proposals, SOWs, Invoices etc.
Understand and direct/participate in all phases of project implementation on multiple large projects.
Prioritize work and schedules
Monitor project activities
Interact with customers to understand their business and to anticipate configuration management solutions based on business and technical knowledge.
Facilitates and/or leads organizational change management activities
Frequently works in ambiguous situations, leading and collaborating with senior leaders in R&D and other functional groups, assessing program and technical risks to make timely decisions
Able to effectively influence both enthusiastic and skeptical stakeholders in the benefits and detailed execution of formal requirements management and configuration management
Manage the customer relationship with business project sponsor.
Responsible for capital and expense project budget. Assist the business in planning capital and expense for IT projects as well.
Provide direct supervision and mentoring of project team members during the project.
Provide project performance feedback to the team members supervisor/manager
Participate in setting direction and standards for the program.

Required Skills/Qualification

Experience in implementing or upgrading a PLM system is required. Siemens TeamCenter Unified experience is preferred
Expert in project management/processes, computer system validation and SDLC
Experience in managing both medium budget and very large project budgets (multi-million)
Must possess strong ability to negotiate and maximize effectiveness of resources and influence others internally and externally.
A proven track record in delivering large scale projects on a global level
Strong business acumen. Solid presentation skills, oral and written communication skills and teamwork skills.
Present program updates/dashboards to senior business and IT stakeholders
Ability to adapt and prioritize program objectives with changing business priorities
Ability to work with culturally and geographically diverse team
Knowledge and experience working with R&D and manufacturing organization
Strong scope, vendor management, resource , risk and project financials management skills
Excellent communication and presentations skills
Experience in influencing and managing senior leadership and stakeholders
Demonstrated success in managing projects in a matrix organization
Experience managing project teams comprised of internal and vendor resources ranging in size from 10 30 people

Desired Skills/Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred or relevant work experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
10+ years of systems experience including 5+ years of project management.
Strong vendor management experience creating SOWs, purchase orders and service level agreements (SLAs).
MBA preferred
LEAN Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies A Career That Matters
