Lead / Sr. Software Development Engineer @ McAfee

• Successful track record in the Software Industry, including expertise in Web Technologies developing responsive APIs using .NET Core 3.x, ASP.NET, .NET Framework 4.8, Web API 2.2, GitHub, SQL and No-SQL DB design .
• An accomplished developer with proficiency in - SOA/Microservices/ESB, OOD, Design Patterns, JavaScript
• Awareness about Container Technology (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Develop backend applications using technologies like Kafka, Elastic Search, AWS SNS/SQS and other distributed platforms.
• Experience in building cloud native applications and CI/CD pipeline
• Knowledge of any modern programming language like GoLang and NodeJS
• Experience writing MS Test (NUnit) Test cases, Static Code Analysis (FxCop), Scalability Testing
• Experience working with the Public Cloud technology, AWS and proficient in Serverless and Containerized environments and workloads
• Collaborate across the board including Dev and QA teams, Program/Product managers and other Project Team members.
• Participate in weekly code reviews with engineers.

• Relevant experience of 8 yrs and above with sound academic background
• You should have experience to convert a problem statement to a design and implementation.
• You should be able to interpret architecture and provide implementation documents.
• You have experience documenting details of functionality, design and architecture of a component.
• Performance, Accessibility, Automation, Diagnostics, Logging, Monitoring, Metrics, Microservice and API design is part of your DNA.
• You have an interest/experience improving efficiency in software testing.
• Proficient in Software Development principles and methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
• You should be able to understand impact of code changes- both programmable and logical changes.
• Can "piece together" relevant existing functionality and quickly come up with a prototype or solution.
• Encourage or host reviews on Application source code and technical documentation.
