Job Purpose
- This position is Critical position and the responsible person has to enhance & maintain distributed computing systems.
- Should have hands-on experience in optimizing complex multi-threaded & multi-layered applications
- Responsible for analyzing the business requirements to develop, test, and support Nielsen applications. These software applications must be developed and maintained with high Nielsen quality standards
- Responsible for analysing and fixing critical production issues
- Integrate seamlessly and collaborate with the existing team of experts
Job Responsibilities
- Strong understanding of CPP Programming techniques to analyse and work on complex data structures
- Good understanding of Object oriented analysis & design
- Working knowledge of STL, Boost Libraries, algorithms and design patterns
- Ability to grasp relational data models quickly and understand SQL and PL/SQL concepts
- Optimize and tune complex CPP code
- Need to have hands-on experience on performance tuning concepts
- Experience of configuration management tools (GIT), configuration concepts and continues integration tools (Jenkins / Bamboo)
- Excellent communication skills
Role Requirements:
- 3-12 years of IT experience
- Experience working with onshore and offshore vendor partners
- CPP Programming techniques, Data Structures, Algorithms
- Linux Shell Scripting
- Knowledge of Tools like JIRA, Zephyr etc.,
- Able to write unit test scenario
- Autonomous/Independent workability
Appreciated skill set:
- Agile methodology
- GIT, Jenkins etc.
Education:
UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Computers
PG: M.Tech - Computers, MCA - Computers
Doctorate: Doctorate Not Required
