What you will be doing?
- Setting up of test environments, designing and executing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases and reviews
- Would be working on 70% of automation testing (including integrating these tests in CI-CD pipeline) and 30% of manual testing
- Interaction with the customers/end-users, PMs, TPMs and other teams whenever required and responsible for all interdepartmental meetings
- Understands the end-to-end product and process flows and provides inputs to different teams including requirements, from the quality aspects
- Schedule testing activities, create budget/plan for testing and prepare test effort estimations
- Carry out continuous test process improvement with the help of metrics; also define these metrics
- Will be writing tools and modules in either JAVA/C/C++, python, Scala to test the end to end systems
- Will be involved in testing front-end applications developed in Angular, JavaScript, HTML5 and work on web automation frameworks
- Will be also working on API testing frameworks
- Trace test procedures with the help of test traceability matrix
- Designing the automation frameworks for the module/feature
- Develop frameworks for test beds for projects, releases
- Handle sign off accountability for the release
- Defines how team operates and strives to stick to best practices
Who are we looking for?
- Having worked on cloud products and solutions
- Having worked on platform /backend components
- Exposure to different test environments (C/C++, Java, Python, Scala) and can build test environment and tools for the same
- Exposure to open source technologies
- Ability to handle a team of testers and mentor them; develop team working practices and processes
- Team management from the delivery and quality aspects
- Would be working with the team for all testing activities carried out by the team
- Selection of right test tools after interacting with the vendors. Integration of testing and development activities
- Exposure to No-SQL Databases is good to have
- Exposure to testing data science components is good to have
Education:
UG: Any Graduate - Any Specialization
PG: Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization
Doctorate: Doctorate Not Required
