Job Description
Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime serviceEngineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs
Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments
Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions
Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware
Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
Key SkillsIN depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu etc.
Hands on experience with MySQL and/or MariaDB
Familiarity with VMWare and SAN, NAS management and concepts.
Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP
Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments
Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Bind, Apache, MySQL, nginx, etc.
Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, etc.
Experience with SSL certificate.
Proficient with network tools such as iptables, Linux IPVS, HAProxy, etc
Additional Linux certifications will be considered an advantage.
Proficiency to configure High Availability Clustering environment, High Availability Storage Devices, High Availability Network Devices.
Modify Platform automation and support Script
Develop and modify application Failover Scripts
Proven experience in Clustering activities like Redhat.
Install, configure, upgrade automated Security health checking client and support.
Knowledgeable in Windows, Unix, Linux, Unix or Linux shell scripting. Practical scripting skills in Shell, PERL, Batch, VB
