Job Description
Responsibilities
- Managing a team of high-caliber cross geo Software Engineers, PMs, and Data Engineers ensuring project and development excellence and technical leadership
- Lead and contribute to the d esign, and implement features, tools, and workflows, in an engineering systems project in collaboration wit h cross geo teams .
- Work closely and partner with engineering teams to help bring cutting-edge Windows features to market with the best laid internal planning and processes.
- Able to create engineering d ashboards and reporting to represent complex view of a large software engineer product lifecycle .
- Adept with Measure, KPI and OKR creation and tracking in a software engineering environment
- Influence and align the product vision by collaborating with customers, partners, product management and engineering teams.
- Own career development of team through active coaching.
- Create a team culture of engineering excellence, customer passion, collaboration, diversity and inclusion. And of course, having fun too!
Qualifications
- BA/BS or higher Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related engineering disciplines
- 1 5 + year s experience in software engineering field including 4 + years of people management experience
- Expert level familiarity with engineering systems and tools for one or more large scale product s or services
- Have excellent communication skills with the ability to work across discipline and across teams to drive positive collaboration with partner teams
- Good design, coding and debugging skills
- Experience in leading large dev teams to achieve complex goals on time and on budget.
- Experience with cross group design and coordination is an advantage.
- You must be self-driven, curious to learn, proactive, and result-oriented .
