Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications/Requirements :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology ore equivalent (STEM) with or closely related fields
Minimum 2-3 years experience in software development and the software development lifecycle
Experience in Data modeling tools and concepts, SQL and one RDBMS product (Oracle, Teradata etc.)
Experience in Scripting (Pig, Python, Perl, etc) and in Core Java, Java WebServices development REST APIs
Demonstrated ability to translate user needs and requirements into design alternatives
Effective team player with strong communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively / clearly at different levels in the organization
Proven ability to create and maintain online and printed documentation
Demonstrated track record for the successful execution and accountability of assigned tasks
Desired Characteristics :
Experience with one BI visualization software (Tableau, Spotfire, etc.)
Experience with Spark streaming, Scala and Drools.
Global mindset with ability to effectively work on distributed remote teams
Experience / familiarity with Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics
Expertise in one or more analytics software tools and packages e.g. Matlab, R, Python etc
Experience with data extraction, data cleansing, data manipulation, ETL tools, and big data technologies, data dictionaries, and data management processes
Experience with Linux/Unix operating system, shell script, and perl
Able to work with limited or ambiguous information and able to develop solutions in response to changes in business climate.
Able to simplify strategy into specific actions with clear accountability, make decisions with speed and accuracy based on best available information, and communicate priorities clearly and concisely.
