Roles and Responsibilities
Demonstrate a strong understanding of IoT, OT & CII security architectures and engage in technical discussions with corporate stakeholders and strategic solutions partners.
- Work with product/project managers, solutions architects to determine and define need for security assessments, methodology, and plans for verification and risk mitigation.
- Review cybersecurity- standards and regulations, support the business for compliance in adequate time and ensure documented compliance.
- Proactively improve and research innovative approaches for penetration testing and vulnerability scanning in industrial environments, and work with internal and external engineers and specialists to drive research results.
- Participate in industry security consortiums and government led initiatives. Develop roadmaps for future improvements
Support digitalization projects and conduct end to end cybersecurity review ensuring cybersecurity capabilities and requirements are addressed.
- Manage vulnerabilities and incidents for existing solutions to ensure swift resolution of issues.Assist in monitoring and notifying appropriate staff of insecure OT technology configurations and devices.
- Creates, updates and maintains documentation of cybersecurity systems in scope to include system configurations, standards and procedures
- Take responsibility to represent a key area of IoT, OT and CII security research within the company, as well as outside with solutions providers and relevant agencies, in the role of a key regional subject matter expert.
- Manages and supports technologies supporting the cybersecurity posture in the solutions
Desired Candidate Profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security or Similar Qualification
- First experience of Operations Technology (OT)/Industrial Control Systems (ICS) such as SCADA, PLC, RTUs, and HMIs.
- Knowledge of common IT (i.e. DNS, HTTP, SMB, etc.) and OT protocols (Modbus, DNP3, BACnet etc.).
- Knowledge of security engineering, system or network security, cryptography, or application security.
- Knowledge of anti-virus, anti-malware, vulnerability scanners, web and email security, centralized logging.
- Experience with configuration, maintenance, and administration of IAM software and tools to include the following: Active Directory, Azure Active Directory or others.
- Strong technical foundation in networking and network security technologies (e.g., Secure Web Gateways, VPNs, Firewalls, DLP, SIEM, CASB)
- Excellent up-to-date technical and hands-on knowledge, experience in current attack methods, penetration testing methods, and hacking tools.
Ability to manage and drive cybersecurity implementations with OT/ICS environments.
