We are looking for an entrepreneurial, self-starter lead product designer to join our product team in Bangalore who understands the user/customer like nobody else and translates them into actionable design, passionate about conceptualizing, planning, and creating large-scale systems with customer-centric product thinking. We also work extensively with folks from different teams - Business Strategy, Marketing, Tech, Design and Operations and an ideal candidate would be empathetic, detail oriented and can quickly transition from detail orientedness to looking at the big picture. Primary Responsibilities

• As part of the design team, drive the product and design vision and strategy, and execute on the prioritized roadmap for your product area by working with engineers and designers to ship features and product improvements
• Highly involved and be responsible to own and drive KR(s) with a help of a dedicated team with end-to-end ownership of one or more product lines
• Deliver. You do more than talk - you put things on paper, get your hands dirty, and execute with precision make sure products and features are launched
• Deep dive into data and identify right problem statements and right segments to target and take experimentation-driven product development approaches.
• Design high-impact, functional User Interfaces for web, mobile, and other mediums
• Capture insights from customer-merchant-partner feedback, experiments, research, and data analysis to identify trends and pinpoint the drivers behind them translate these insights into tactical solutions to improve our products
• Define scalable processes for the team to follow resulting in gains in efficient deliver, better communication and feedback cycles
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and UX Research to drive product strategy and to design simple experiences that our customers love
• Participate in our design critique process, to receive and provide feedback on design work

What Are We Looking For

• Has 5+ years of relevant experience in product design, preferably in a consumer facing product role with at least 2 year in leading designers
• Has a bachelors or masters degree in design, human-computer interaction, psychology, or other related areas
• Proficient in the product design field with extensive and demonstrated expertise in visual hierarchy, layout and information architecture.
• Able to to identify/analyze problem areas, to work on the complex issues.
• Possess a good knowledge in design fundamentals such as design thinking framework and other frameworks in order to develop products.
• Empathizes with the user through their journey(ies) and understand their needs understand, discuss & present user research findings
• Strong communication skills, the ability to summarize complex and technical topics to a wide range of audiences.
• Has a bias for rapid prototyping & experimentation
• Has an exceptional portfolio that highlights your work and specific contributions in user-centered design solutions (Product design, UX Design)
• Brownie points to folks who've built or worked on supply chain, ecommerce and delivery problems in the past
