Senior Software Engineer , Core Platform @ Cloudleaf

Job Description

• Become the subject matter expert and truly understand what customers need from this product.

• Understand different subsystems and bring them together to form a meaningful solution to the customer.

• Communicate effectively with internal teams, business partners and collaborate well within a team environment to drive results.

• Develop automated test routines and perform unit, system and functional testing.

• You collaborate with the UX team, product managers, and other technical teams to create a delightful user experience.

• Document detailed design and architecture, integration flows/processes, and participate in design reviews.

• Build core libraries and services to enable other product engineering teams.

• Work with little or no supervision and draw details from ambiguity.

• Help/Motivate/Coach junior members of the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in architecting and implementing highly scalable and distributed backend microservices using Java and Spring Framework.

• Experience with stream-processing platforms like Apache Kafka.

• Experience in developing distributed databases such as Cassandra and ElasticSearch and relational databases (Postgres).

• Very good experience in using tools like Postman, browser debugger tools.

• Strong written, verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in SSO, Data Sharing, and Collaboration is a plus.

• Experience building scalable pub/sub and batch systems is a plus

• Experience in AWS services is a plus.

• Experience in working with distributed (geographically) teams is a plus.
