Welocalize is looking for multimedia production engineers, with a focus on eLearning content development, to join a growing business in multimedia eLearning localization. We are seeking technical production staff to work in a high volume operation delivering hundreds of individual training assets monthly. In this role you will work directly with a global team of staff and partner agencies and have both project management and technical production responsibilities. You will deliver results and delight customers within our four pillars of Global Teamwork, Innovation, Quality, and Customer Service.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
Technical competencies
- Hands-on experience using either Articulate360 applications or Adobe Captivate
- Hands-on experience using Techsmith Camtasia or a similar screen-recording and video editing application
- Hands-on experience using Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects
- Hands-on experience using Microsoft Office applications
- Hands-on experience using Aegisub or a similar subtitle editor
- Familiar with cloud storage services such as OneDrive, Google Drive, and WeTransfer
- Able to track and log task time in an ERP system
- Mathematical analysis skills adequate to identify and prevent calculation errors from entering into scope-of-work estimates
- Hands-on experience using formulas, named data, and data validation in Excel
- Additional competencies
- Self-motivated in learning new applications with only basic instructor-led training provided
- Able to manage multiple tasks and competing or conflicting deadlines while assigned to a portfolio of scores of concurrent projects
- English-language written and verbal communication skills, proficient enough to answer technical queries from video engineers, audio engineers, recording studio managers, or eLearning developers over email and chat.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform hands-on eLearning development tasks in any of the applications listed under technical competencies
- Includes transcript prep, audio and video engineering, formatting and layout of text and graphics, DTP engineering, VO synchronization, course build, course publishing
- Scope work offers and dispatch them to qualified agencies and workers
- Monitor at-risk tasks on project critical paths, for multiple concurrent projects, in provided dashboards, and take corrective and preventive actions to prevent identified risks from affecting planned deliveries
- Daily interaction with technical leads or production managers at our partner agencies, including recording studios, post-production studios, and DTP engineering agencies
- Review and propose improvements to published standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Capture and document client requirements and specifications into shared knowledge repositories
- Analyze new project source content to estimate scope of work, schedule, and resource needs
- Escalation support for quality or delivery failures by sub-contracted suppliers, including performing formal CAPA process under ISO9000 requirements
- Follow information security protocols to protect confidential and sensitive client and Welocalize data
- Maintain a daily timecard
- Work in multiple SaaS and Cloud platforms on a daily basis
- Working hours are generally from 8:30am to 5pm in the aligned time zone. Some flexibility is possible.
- Occasional off-hours meetings during working hours in other time zones may be required
