Role Overview :

This is an interesting role that provides a unique opportunity for engineers with strong development skills and experience that have a passion for quality, to make a significant impact with our customers by having McAfee continually release our MVISION ePO platform updates to the Cloud production environment with top notch quality. This role entails the following skills :

Develop and execute functional and system level tests manually on various product environments.

Develop and execute performance / load tests on Web Applications in a public cloud environment.

Monitor application performance using standard monitoring tools on public cloud environments like AWS / Azure.

Analyze performance issues in the application and provide solutions.

Develop and execute automated system e2e tests as part of CI/ CD container- based deployment pipeline from source to live production

Conduct code inspections, peer code reviews, and develop automated testing to find and swiftly resolve defects prior to code check- in

Generate and review code coverage reports, and use the data to author and execute automated tests

Performance and Security reviews of product designs and code during early stages of product development, and create automated regression tests for continuous test loops

Debug and promptly resolve beta and live cloud ops or field escalation issues from internal and external customers

Setup testing environments based on available documentation and also debug issues with environments.

Work in fast paced agile team and take/ influence decisions that swiftly drive open technical topics to a closure.

Continually improve and mature our engineering software development processes sprint over sprint and release over release

Provide technical mentoring to other engineering members to build a high performing and inclusive team of talented individuals that learns and grows together.

Engineers in our team have an opportunity to deep dive across the entire development cycle from concept to delivery within our platform group and also our partner engineering product teams.

Ideal candidates with :

8+ years of proven record in testing and releasing high quality enterprise software in Cloud with programming and scripting skills in Java and SQL preferred.

5+ years of experience in design, development, execution and monitoring of Web application performance in a cloud environment.

Proficient knowledge of atleast one performance tool used for Web application performance.

Strong experience working in DevOps CI/ CD environment, developing automated framework and system tests, performing code reviews, and identifying/ implementing automation opportunities.

Proficient knowledge working on Linux/ Windows/ Mac OS and public cloud platform technologies and services in AWS and also Azure

Hands on experience with multiple tools and frameworks such as TeamCity, Coverity, Fortify, Code Collaborator, JMeter, unit testing frameworks such as CPPUnit, Junit

Should have strong debugging experience and excellent problem- solving skills.

Proven experience working in a true agile development environment and maturity with development processes such as fully automated unit and system integration testing, static/ dynamic analysis, and secure coding practices Strong desire to continually grow in the technical stream by learning new technologies and translate them into working software
