Job Description
Must have sound hands-on experience on CISCO Routing & Switching, Palo Alto or Checkpoint firewalls.
Job Requirement
o Mandatory: Candidate with strong Routing and Switched experience.
o Mandatory: Candidate with strong Palo Alto or Checkpoint Firewalls experience.
o Good to have: Load-balancing Radware, Citrix or F5
o Good to have: Data Centre, VxLan, and DNS knowledge.
o Candidates must have hands on working knowledge of these technologies and substantial demonstrated experience.
Job Role
o Provide Network Engineering support to manage day to day network operations and project works.
o Perform technical support services as part of incident and problem management
o Participate in scheduled reviews of ANZ network assets and configuration systems to identify inaccuracies and provide feedback to internal and external stakeholders
o Accept, manage and update service requests to ensure contracted service levels are met
o Identify known errors and document within ANZ Service Now/Confluence errors databases and knowledge management systems
o Provide technical advice, support, recommendations and customer consultancy on a range of platforms, devices, applications and computerized systems
o Provide mentorship and deliver and/or develop technical training to level 1 Network Engineers
o Prepare and maintain technical process documentation
o Participate in a program to ensure the successful integration of new products, services & or processes which may include software and hardware evaluation
o Liaise with various stakeholders, to arrange and/or participate in acceptance testing of products and equipment.
Experience/ Certification Required
o Solid Networking concepts and knowledge
o Experience of supporting and troubleshooting Cisco switches/routers, EVPN/VXLAN Fabric, Load balancing and Palo Alto Firewalls
o Minimum of 8 years experience of managing and supporting IT infrastructure including but not limited to LAN/WAN networks, Security, Load Balancing and Automation Capability
o Excellent troubleshooting skills.
o Excellent communication, both verbal and written
