Test Lead - Gurgaon - IHS Markit - 10 to 15

What you ll do

• Oversee the timely completion of testing tasks to meet delivery and regulatory deadlines.
• Report the test status to the team, release forum, platform meeting and management as required.
• Contribute to group wide harmonisation of test practice, process improvements within and outside the testing group. Enforce QA practice standards and guidelines.
• Initiate and contribute to process improvements to the global testing practice across platforms.
• Look for ways to continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing practice.
• Partner with the Development leads to support the Release Manager in the release function. This includes contributing test updates in daily meetings, co-ordinating patches and upgrades to test, UAT and pre-prod rigs, planning testing resources and management of defects to ensure successful deployment of releases and safeguarding the service.
