Product Development Manager Position Type :Full TimeYear of Experience:8-10 yrsJob DescriptionResponsibilities:Own the development practices and standards for the team. Techno Functional profile. Own the technical architecture, drive engineering design and shoulder critical decisionsUnderstand, prioritize and deliver the feature roadmap while chipping away at the technical debtWork effectively with a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, developers and QA. Coordinate with Business, Sales and marketing teamsOwn the communication of the teams progress and perception of the team itselfCollaborate to drive sourcing, screening, interviewing and recruitment of the right talent for your teamContinuously improve the productivity of the team by identifying investments in technology, process and continuous deliveryOwn the morale of your team, unblock them at critical junctures, and break ties in a timely mannerOwn the careers of your team members, deliver regular and timely feedback, represent team for reviews and reward your performers Educational QualificationBachelor's Degree in technical field OR equivalent work experienceSkills Required:An 6-8 years of relevant professional work experienceA minimum of 3-4 years of software development experience as an individual contributor in a Fullstack and/or Bigdata environment. Strong experience in key skills like oHTML,oCSS, oReactJS, oRest based architecture, oNo-SQL like MongoDB / ElasticSearch , oBig data computing technologies (Apache Spark, Storm, Kafka etc;)Experience developing software in a commercial software product development environment. Must have guided at least one or two software development projects end to endA polyglot in programming languages with the ability to learn new technologies as the need arises. Should be comfortable with code reviewsExperience leading teams of software engineers that built software products for scaleSelf-Driven, disciplined with Clear and confident spoken and written communicationAbility to manage teams, work remotely and deliver results.
