The Main Purpose Of This Job

Project Manager will be managing the relevant customer projects for Softline.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE

• Experience of managing IT projects with personal accountability for delivering to time and cost for large and complex projects

• Mastery of project management methodology, tools and templates (includes project planning, schedule development, scope management and cost management)

• Track record of customer focus, based on openness, trust, and delivering on promises

• Experience in delivery that includes the use of supplier and off-shore resources

• Management skills to manage one or more large, complex Work stream simultaneously.

• IT background with experience across the systems development life cycle with experience in all project phases plan, initiate, elaborate, design, build, test, implement.

• Extensive knowledge and use of industry-standard project methods, tools and techniques e.g. RAIDS, budget, communication.

• Strong team working skills across matrixed client, supplier and geographically dispersed virtual teams

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (includes negotiation)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills must be able to communicate fluently both verbally and in writing

• Leader in the use of IT methodologies, processes and standards for project management

• Team management skills.

• Good exposure of complex business system landscapes deployment and modification (i.e. ERP, BPM, CRM, etc)

• Strong technical background and experience working as a technical architect/technical lead in deployment projects

Qualifications Skills:

• A minimum of 4-8 years project Manager experience.

• Strong background working with complex business systems landscapes

• Strong technical background as architect/technical lead in projects implementation

• Effectively verbally including excellent presentation skills, communicates clearly in writing; strong relationship building skills.

PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND FOR THIS ROLE

• Bachelor s or master s degree in or equivalent experience in industry related discipline

• Project management certification is an advantage (PMI, PRINCE, etc)
